ADC says Nigeria will collapse if we keep standing on Tinubu's failed mandate

The African Democratic Congress has come out strongly against President Tinubu's government, with their National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi stating plainly that Nigeria may collapse if the country continues to stand on what he called a 'failed' mandate. He made this assertion on Symfoni TV earlier this week.

Abdullahi said the President has failed in all areas — economy, security, and job creation. He specifically pointed out that businesses are collapsing every day and that the government simply does not care. He also referenced the recent abduction of children in Oyo State, noting that Governor Seyi Makinde himself has questioned whether there is a political undertone to the incident and is calling for external investigators.

When asked what this government has done right, Abdullahi said even ardent supporters can only point to the removal of fuel subsidies, which he described as an impulsive decision that has landed the country in a catastrophic situation. So the question remains: if the people defending this government cannot name a single genuine achievement beyond subsidy removal, what exactly are we holding onto?
