My boyfriend said I'm 'too online' and I haven't spoken to him in 3 days

So my guy comes over yesterday, sees me scrolling through Twitter while my noodles are boiling, and he just sighs. Not a small sigh. A whole dramatic sigh like I just told him I'm pregnant for another person.

He said, 'Chi-Chi, you are too online. Your phone is an extension of your hand. When last did you read a book that wasn't a thread?' I just looked at him. The noodles started burning. I turned off the gas, picked up my phone, and went to the bedroom. Closed the door.

Now he's been sending 'I'm sorry' texts but the thing is... he's not entirely wrong? I finished 4 books last year. This year I've finished one. But also, why is he policing my coping mechanism? The economy is rough, my rent is due, the documentary is still sitting on my hard drive. Let me scroll in peace abeg. But is he wrong though?
