Accord Party cries out as 100 members arrested ahead of Osun election

Accord Party don cry out yesterday, say about 100 of their leaders, candidates and supporters don suffer arrest across Osun State ahead of the August 15 governorship election. Their National Chairman, Maxwell Mgbudem, say some of their members even carry go Abuja. And the worst part? The party don complain before about attacks on their offices and campaign council, but police no arrest any of the known hoodlums.

Mgbudem say, 'These attacks were duly reported to the Police and other security agencies in the state; sadly, none of these known hoodlums was arrested, let alone prosecuted.' Now Accord dey call for the removal of Osun State Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Gotan, accusing am of taking sides. Dem don ask President Tinubu, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, and international community to intervene.

The party still talk say 'No brute force will break the resolve of the people of Osun from identifying with Accord.' But if security agencies wey suppose be neutral dey arrest your supporters before election, how you go win? The question is: who really dey benefit from this kind harassment, and why nobody dey talk about am?
