The Court of Appeal just slapped down a Federal High Court order that tried to deregister ADC and four other opposition parties, calling it "judicial impertinence." So the same parties that were almost wiped out by legal games are now free to contest 2027, and opposition figures are already framing this as proof that the APC's tactics of using courts to shrink the political space have hit a wall. If judges who make reckless rulings know they'll be embarrassed on appeal, will they think twice before playing politics with our democracy?
