So the family is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. They’re telling supporters to cool off because moving Kanu from Sokoto could accidentally kill his appeal , even though the judge who sent him there literally wrote that he “hates the North with a passion” and packed him off to the Caliphate’s heart. That’s not a prison transfer; that’s a message. But here’s the burning question: if the court of appeal is the only place this can be settled, why are we even debating where he sleeps , or are we just watching a legal strategy that might backfire on all of us?
