Tyla cancelled Lagos and now we're pretending we weren't about to storm the venue

So Tyla removed Lagos from her world tour after our celebrities started the campaign. The same people who were buying tickets last week are now saying 'we never wanted her anyway'. The hypocrisy is giving whiplash.

I saw a tweet saying South Africa thinks we're fools. But honestly? We gave them so much ammunition. We begged for the show, then turned on her because of some xenophobia comments that weren't even from her. Make it make sense.

Anyway, my wallet is safe now. But the way we move as a collective is genuinely embarrassing sometimes. Are we really this easily swayed or do we just love drama more than music?
