Osun Police and SSG detention: who dey lie here?

Osun State Police and the state government don dey exchange words over the detention of the Secretary to the State Government, Teslim Igbalaye. Police say the operation on July 29 was based on credible intelligence and not politically motivated, and dem recover cash, voters' registers, and PVCs from the residence. But the Attorney-General, Oluwole Jimi-Bada, don question the whole thing, saying if a man wey voluntarily go to police fit become detainee without clear grounds, then everybody dey at risk.

This one na serious matter because the governorship election for August 15 dey close, and any move wey look like police dey target one side go raise suspicion. The AG say the cash and PVCs na party logistics and personal property, not evidence of vote-buying. Police say dem dey investigate fully and Igbalaye don get administrative bail.
