PDP faction submits Jonathan name to INEC, says no access codes

A faction of the PDP has submitted former President Goodluck Jonathan's name as its 2027 presidential candidate to INEC. The Interim National Working Committee led by Kabiru Turaki, SAN, said they did it manually on Friday because INEC allegedly refused to give them electronic submission codes.

Ini Ememobong, the faction's spokesman, told a press conference that INEC acknowledged receipt but still denied them access. He accused the commission of bias, saying, "The Commission's filings, its arguments before the courts, and its refusal to comply with court orders favourable to our party have collectively created an impression of institutional bias that should concern every Nigerian."

So now we have two PDPs fighting over who is authentic, and INEC stuck in the middle. If INEC publishes a different list, this party will tear itself apart before 2027. Which PDP do you think INEC will recognise when the dust settles?
