So Dunamis' head pastor just told his congregation that Afrobeats musicians are singing rubbish while smoking hemp and corrupting our youths. He's pushing gospel artists to flood the space with "word-loaded" music to save the next generation. But here's the thing , if our youths are being shaped by the lyrics they hear, why are we only blaming the artists and not the parents, the system, and the poverty that makes those songs feel like the only escape? Is it really the music that's the problem, or are we just looking for an easy scapegoat?
