Pastor Enenche vs Afrobeats: una don see the full interview?

My sister just sent me the clip of Pastor Paul Enenche talking about Afrobeats musicians singing rubbish and corrupting youths. I had to watch it twice. The man is not holding back at all.

From where I sit in Abuja, I understand his frustration. Some of these songs are pure noise, no message. But you cannot blame the whole genre because a few artists are dropping nonsense. There are still musicians using their platform well, speaking truth about this country. The problem is we celebrate the wrong ones.

I have seen this play out before. When I was younger, our parents said the same thing about the music we listened to. Now we are the ones sounding like our parents. Interesting how that works. What do you think, is he right or is he just old school?
