Yoruba Union Declares War On Tinubu, Says Nigeria Is Bleeding

The Yoruba Union has come out openly to declare that Nigeria is bleeding and they are urging every Nigerian to vote President Bola Tinubu out in 2027. This is not the kind of statement you make quietly. When a group that represents a major ethnic bloc says this, it means the patience of the people has finally run out.

I have been a civil servant for over thirty years, and I have seen governments come and go. But the level of hardship we are facing now is unlike anything I witnessed in my active years. The naira has lost so much value that even the money we saved for retirement is almost worthless. The Yoruba Union is simply saying what many of us are already thinking in our hearts.

Some people will say that this is just political noise, that the union does not speak for all Yoruba people. But when you look at the cost of food, transport, and school fees, you will understand why people are angry. The government cannot continue to pretend that everything is fine when families are skipping meals. I am not saying Tinubu should be removed without a proper election, but the 2027 election must be a referendum on this administration's performance.

Am I the only one that thinks the Yoruba Union is right to speak up now, or should they have waited until things got even worse?
