Ten-time champions lose to debutants Malawi, then have the nerve to talk about retaining a trophy? We saw what happened against Zambia in 2022 , they took our bronze medal and laughed. Now we're begging for a must-win against a team that just put six past Egypt. If we can't beat a team playing their first ever WAFCON, what exactly are we defending? Are we still the giants of African women's football, or have we been sleeping while everyone else levelled up?
