If armed men can storm a military outpost, kill four soldiers, burn their vehicles, and still walk into a community to cart away 70 women and children, then what is the point of that post? We keep hearing about "reinforcements" arriving after the damage is done, but the real question is: how do these bandits always know the exact moment to strike? If soldiers are dying and villagers are being taken in the same night, should we still be trusting the current playbook, or is it time to ask who is really in charge of security in Zamfara?
