So a South African singer is coming to Nigeria and instead of asking why our government lets foreign artists collect our money while our own musicians struggle to tour Africa, we’re busy dragging her over xenophobia. A law firm even had to remind us that the real problem is our leaders, not a 22-year-old who didn’t create the hate. When last did a Nigerian artist get this level of protection and support from our own government abroad?
