State Police: Are We Finally Ready to Stop Playing Politics with Our Security?

All these governors suddenly singing the same song about State Police, is it genuine concern for our safety or just another power grab disguised as reform? The same people who can't secure their own local governments now want to control their own armed forces, and we're supposed to clap? If Nigeria can't even manage a centralized police force without corruption and brutality, what makes anyone believe 36 separate ones will do better, or are we just tired of waiting for Abuja to get it right?
