I found out my mother has been collecting my rent money from my landlord for 2 years

I moved to Lekki 2 years ago, I pay my rent annually. 250k. I always transfer to my landlord's account. Last week my landlord called me, asking when I'll pay the new rent. I said I paid. He said no, my mother collected it.

I called my mother. She said she's been collecting it and using it to train my younger sister in school. She said I should not be angry, that she knows I'm doing well. That I should just pay again.

I'm not angry about the money. I'm angry that she lied for 2 years. She never asked. She just took. Now I'm looking at my sister and I don't know if I should tell her. My mother thinks she did nothing wrong.
