Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has thrown a jab at President Bola Tinubu's administration, saying his own educational records are an open book. Speaking on Channels Television's Politics Today on Tuesday, Amaechi fired back at the controversy surrounding Tinubu's academic history, insisting he doesn't need to prove anything to anyone.

"I don't have to submit my law degree to INEC. I have classmates. I have classmates in primary school. I can call them now. Christian Obong was my classmate in primary school," Amaechi said. He went further, naming Abia State Governor Alex Otti as his junior at the University of Port Harcourt, and dared anyone to verify his school days from primary to university.

The former Rivers State governor also waded into the backlash against Cardinal John Onaiyekan, urging those around Tinubu to show respect for the Christian faith and the Catholic Church. He said, "They should please respect the Christian faith. They should please respect the Catholic Church, and they should respect our bishops." So the question is, when will this government stop giving us reasons to question everything?
