So the House committee is now set to question the PFIPC boss in some secret location, away from cameras and the public, after a businessman claimed he dropped N400m for a contract that may not even exist. They say it's to protect ongoing EFCC and ICPC investigations and respect a court order, but let's be honest, when powerful people get questioned behind closed doors, does anyone really believe we'll get the full story? The man is in police custody, the money allegedly changed hands, and now the so-called accountability session is being hidden from our eyes. If the goal is transparency, why are we being kept in the dark about when and where the man will finally speak?
