Preaching on buses? Let me tell you how we did it in my time

This talk about banning preaching on buses don worry me. I hear say the PFN don tell NASS say dem dey plan to imprison 65 million Nigerians. That one na serious matter. But I just dey remember how we use to do am in my time in Ibadan.

Back then, if you board a bus from Challenge to Dugbe, you go see one man stand at the back, no microphone, just clear voice. He go preach for two or three stops, then collect offering. Some people dey give, some no. Nobody force anybody. If the conductor talk say make e stop, e go stop. We no need law for that one. The matter na about respect, not about prison.

The thing wey dey pain me be say, instead of government to focus on better roads and cheaper food, dem dey worry about who dey talk for bus. The Yoruba say, a word is enough for the wise. I just hope say dem no go carry this thing too far. Because if dem imprison all the people wey dey preach for bus, who go dey there to encourage us when the driver dey overspeed?
