I go see one big client for Ikeja today. The man talk say him want buy two units of our generator set. I dey happy, I dey calculate my commission for head. We shake hand, he promise say he go pay advance tomorrow.

Tomorrow come, he no pick call. I call am 5 times. He block me. The whole deal just vanish like that. My oga for work just look me say, 'Chidi, na so this Lagos dey be sometimes.'

E pain me but e no be the money. Na the way I trust the man talk. Since that day, I don learn say handshake no be contract. But I still dey believe say good people dey out there. Na only God know why some people dey do like that.
