EFCC freeze Osun govt accounts days before election, Accord dey call am plot

Accord Party don come out strong yesterday say EFCC freezing Osun State government accounts days before the 15 August governorship election na pure injustice and illegality. The party National leader, Chief Maxwell Mgbudem, sign statement calling on President Bola Tinubu to allow free election for Osun. Accord say the action na part of wider plot to use police and federal agencies to capture the state for APC wey the people don already reject.

Accord also say EFCC no get court order before freezing the accounts because dem know court no go grant am. The party dey threaten to challenge am for court. Dem talk say police don become so partisan and desperate for opposition APC, arresting and detaining Accord members across Osun, Abuja and Nasarawa. Accord say the people of Osun go resist any attempt to rig or manipulate the election.

My brother, this one no be small matter. EFCC suppose be anti-graft agency, not political weapon. If dem fit freeze state accounts just because election dey come, wetin go stop dem from doing worse? The question be say, President Tinubu go call EFCC to order or he go let this thing continue? Osun people say dem no go accept any imposed candidate.
