Why I think couples who post each other every day are hiding something

I was scrolling yesterday and I saw a couple I know personally. The wife posted a whole love letter to the husband, talking about how he is the best thing that happened to her, how he spoils her, all of that. Meanwhile, I know for a fact that this same man has not slept at home in three weeks. I won't mention names, but if you know, you know.

From where I sit in Abuja, I have seen this play out too many times. The couples who are always posting lovey dovey stuff, matching outfits, surprise dates, they are usually the ones fighting behind closed doors. The ones who are actually solid, they are quiet. They are too busy living their lives to be performing for Instagram.

And before anybody comes for me, I am not saying every couple that posts is fake. But I am saying, if you need to convince the whole world that your relationship is perfect, maybe you need to convince yourself first. My honest counsel? Keep some things private. Your relationship is not a reality show.

Who else has noticed this pattern, or am I just surrounded by fake people?
