Dangote cuts fuel prices but my generator still go dey run

So Dangote refinery don reduce petrol and diesel prices again. My guys, before una start celebrating, let me break it down. The numbers say this is good news for the economy, but the real question is when the price drop go actually reach the pump wey dey my street.

I remember when they announced the first cut last year, everybody was happy. Then the filling stations took their sweet time to adjust. Some even kept old prices for weeks. It's like the price reduction travels from Lagos to Ibadan by bus, not by pipeline.

Anyway, I'm not complaining too much. Any reduction is better than increase. But my generator still dey run every night because NEPA still dey do their usual thing. So the savings go just balance the fuel I buy for the generator. Na so life dey balance itself.
