Tinubu don buy 2027 ticket with just 'I have a degree'?

Babatunde Ogala, former APC National Legal Adviser, don come out yesterday on Channels TV Politics Today to say President Bola Tinubu is qualified to run for 2027 because he is a Nigerian and he has age. The man even say the Constitution only require Primary Six and ability to read and write, and Tinubu say he get degree, so wetin concern anybody with where he attend school?

Ogala talk say, "The man says, 'I have a degree.' Babatunde Ogala is sitting here. I'm a Senior Advocate, and you are asking me to prove if I'm a lawyer." Na so him dey compare himself to Tinubu, as if being a SAN wey don argue for court be same as being a president wey suppose show certificate wey he no fit produce. The thing wey dey pain me be say, if na you or me wey dey contest for local government chairman, dem go demand everything including baptism certificate. But for presidential level, na just "I am a Nigerian" be the qualification?

I no dey talk say Tinubu no qualify, but this argument wey Ogala dey make sef, e no too strong. If the law say INEC suppose collect certificates and the man no submit any, how we go just swallow "I get degree" like that? This one don set bad precedent for 2027. Be honest, if na Peter Obi or Atiku wey no submit certificate, dem for accept am like this? Let's argue this...
