Buba Galadima says Tinubu is rigging 2027 elections before they even start

NDC chieftain Buba Galadima don open mouth today and drop something wey go make APC people vex. He say Nigerians must come together and throw out President Bola Tinubu in 2027, and he go further to allege say Tinubu na the one wey design the Electoral Act wey dey make am difficult for other parties to produce candidates. According to Galadima, the president is only protecting himself and APC, and he no dey think say anybody fit contest with am. But Galadima say, "Even if it's an empty coffin, all Nigerians must come together and throw him out for the sake of this country."

Now, I be history teacher, and I fit tell you say this kind talk no be new for our politics. We don hear this kind threat before, from Abiola to Buhari, and most times the people wey dey talk am na the same people wey go later carry the next president hand. But the thing wey make Galadima talk stand na the Electoral Act part. If the man wey dey contest against you na the same person wey write the rule book, how you go win? E be like say you dey play football with a referee wey be the opponent coach. The man own don clear, but the question be say, we fit do anything about am?

I no be Tinubu supporter, but I go tell you the truth. Opposition don dey use this same playbook since 2015, and e never work. They talk, they threaten, they form alliance, then they scatter before election. The only way Galadima talk go carry weight na if all the opposition parties genuinely come together, not just for press conference but for actual strategy. Be honest, you really believe say PDP, LP, and all the small parties fit unite before 2027? Or this na another story wey go end for dust?
