So 163 people walked free after six months in captivity, but 13 of their neighbours are still unaccounted for. Nobody is talking about them. Women gave birth in the bush while the government was still "working towards" setting up a military base. If 100+ people can be killed and 176 dragged away in one attack, what exactly are we waiting for? How many more communities must beg for protection before the government stops treating our lives like a negotiation table?
