The question nobody wants to answer: is one man's dream of a separate state worth a life behind bars while others who have said worse are walking free? The lawyer says the real charge was never terrorism or treason, it was simply asking to be treated fairly as Nigerians, or allowed to leave. If we can't even agree on whether this is justice or the state flexing its power, how do we expect any of our leaders to ever take our own grievances seriously?
