Tinubu tell EFCC comot hand from Osun account, Adeleke don sue dem for N2bn

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday direct EFCC to vacate the court order freezing Osun State government account, and Governor Ademola Adeleke don already sue the commission for N2 billion over the same matter. Tinubu say he feel "deeply embarrassed" not because EFCC exercise their mandate wey court back, but because of the timing of the agency action, which he call "inauspicious" and say go make people feel say federal government dey interfere with the election.

Peter Obi and Governor Seyi Makinde don also react. Obi say the timing dey suspicious, say "growing perception" dey say anti-graft agency don turn to tool for politicians, and he dey call on authorities "to act strictly within the constitution and ensure say notin dey undermine the credibility of Osun Govnorship Election." Makinde for X condemn the use of federal institutions to witchhunt opposition states, say the freezing "pass the powers wey law give EFCC" and na attempt to unduly influence the election.

EFCC for their own statement say dem dey investigate Osun since March over alleged fraud of N11 billion involving Ecology Funds, Intervention Funds and FAAC accounts. So who really dey right here? Make una reason am well.
