I caught my husband's pastor doing something I can't even type here

My husband and I have been married for 12 years. About two years ago, he started coming home late, always smelling of strong perfume. I confronted him, and he said it was his new pastor, Pastor Ade, who was counselling him for a promotion at work. I believed him, because our marriage was fine and the man was a respected man of God.

One day, I went to the church to pick up my husband for an emergency, and I saw Pastor Ade and my husband in the pastor's office. The door was slightly open, and I saw them... kissing. My husband saw me and ran after me, begging. He said it had been going on for months, that Pastor Ade had a hold on him, that he was confused. I was shattered. I couldn't even tell anyone because who would believe that a pastor would do such a thing?

We are still together, but I can't look at him the same way. I've lost my faith in the church, and I don't know if I can ever trust a man of God again. I never thought my own husband would be the one to break me like this.
