My body don tell me stop, but the hustle no gree
3 months ago
Last month I dey run around Kano for market, meeting farmers, checking supplies. The sun too hot, I no even drink water well. By evening my head dey spin, I nearly fall for motor park. Some woman hold me, she say 'Amina, you don too dey press yourself.'
I laugh am, but inside I know she right. Since I start Northern AgroConnect, I dey move like machine. Wake up 5am, sleep 12 midnight. Eat when I remember. My body don dey show me signs but I no dey hear.
The thing wey teach me lesson na the hospital bill. Small checkup cost me almost ₦80,000. Money wey I suppose use for business. My husband look me and say 'Your health na your real capital, if you fall, who go run the company?'
So now I dey force myself to rest. No be by talking, na action. If you no rest, the body go force you to rest. Who else dey guilty of this hustle life?
