The economy is supposedly recovering, investors are happy, and money is flowing in like never before. Yet the average person is still struggling to stretch a salary that vanishes within days. Food, transport, and electricity have all doubled, and more than half of us are living in poverty. So who exactly is this recovery for?If the stock market is booming but the pot of jollof rice is shrinking, can we really call it progress? Or are we just being fed numbers while the real economy stays locked away from the common man?
