Adedeji, wey talk for Channels TV Sunday Politics, dey hail Tinubu for removing fuel subsidy, saying subsidy go don cost us N53 trillion and dollar go rise to N3,500 if not for Tinubu. E even claim state allocations don jump by 530 percent to N4.5 trillion from N700 billion.

But Oseni, for X on Monday, ask am say, "If the NRS chief says subsidy would have been over N50 trillion, can he also give us the revenue Nigerians lost to inflation? To balance the argument." Inflation dey 15.91 percent as of June 2026, and this one no be small thing. We dey talk about the money wey don disappear from our pockets, the prices wey don fly, and the suffering wey e don cause for market, for transport, for everywhere from Ibadan to Kano.

Make we no forget say Adedeji don already catch fire over im claim say Tinubu dey trek to office and dey eat once a day. So my question be, when government go give us the full account of what we don lose, or we just go dey hear about how subsidy go don cost us?
