Atiku don turn ADC to personal property, Babachir Lawal don vex finish

Former SGF Babachir Lawal don declare war with Atiku Abubakar and the ADC leadership over the unlawful substitution of the party's Adamawa governorship candidate. Yesterday, Lawal release a statement saying Atiku and the party removed Engr Umar Suleiman, who won the primary in a landslide, and replaced am with Tukur Moddibo, simply because Moddibo be Atiku's kinsman, a Fulani Muslim from Fufore. Lawal talk say this move violate the Electoral Act 2026, the ADC Constitution, and the party's primary guidelines, and he dey ready to test am for court.

Lawal don also allege say the plan na to hand Adamawa to APC candidate Alhaji Ahmed Tijjani Galadima, a prince of the Adamawa Emirate, so that Atiku and the Emirate Council fit consolidate power and frustrate the new Emirates and Chiefdoms wey Governor Fintiri restore for the aboriginal tribes. He talk say, "Atiku's contempt for rule of law will cost ADC victory in the Adamawa Governorship Election in 2027." The man no even mince words, he say the party leadership don become willing tools for one man's tribal and religious ego.

This one na pure power play and hypocrisy wey we don see for Nigerian politics. Atiku wey don contest president many times, now dey use ADC as personal estate to push Fulani hegemony for Adamawa. Meanwhile, Suleiman wey win the primary dey sidelined because he no be Atiku's brother.
