NEPA takings light, but my husband still dey find remote for fridge

So last night, NEPA finally remember us for Wuse. Light come at 9pm. My husband, a grown man with a master's degree, started screaming from the bedroom, 'Zainab! Zainab! Where you put the remote?'

I say, 'Which remote?' He say, 'The one for the TV!' I just look at am. The TV is on. The light is on. He is standing in front of the TV, pointing at the fridge, asking why the 'TV' no dey respond when he dey press the button.

This is the same man wey dey manage a team of 15 people for work. The same man wey dey calculate our monthly budget down to the last naira. But when NEPA bring light, common sense comot for window. I just tell am, 'Honey, that na fridge. The remote dey for your hand.' He look down, see the remote for fridge, and just say, 'Oh.' Then he sit down like nothing happen.

I swear, if NEPA dey give us light regularly, half of Nigerian marriages for don collapse. Because we no fit survive seeing our husbands this confused every single day. The generator dey hide their true level.
