So the government says keeping fuel subsidy would have cost us N53 trillion and pushed naira to N3,500 per dollar. That's a massive number, but they never explained how they arrived at it. We all felt the pain when subsidy was removed, but if this figure is true, were we actually saved from a worse disaster, or is this just another justification for policies that have made life harder? What do you think , was the removal the right call, or should they have found a better way?
