Court-martial president admits detention facility for coup suspects is not ideal

Air Vice Marshal H.I. Alhaji, the man presiding over the court-martial for the 36 soldiers accused of plotting against President Bola Tinubu, just told the court that the place where dem dey keep these men is not ideal. He even said if he was DSS, he would not carry his boots inside that facility. Yet dem still dey hold dem there.

He admitted say DSS and police detention centers are way better than where these military personnel dey. Lawyers and family members cannot even see dem freely. The man say make everybody just be patient, say "this is a basic life that all of us are going to pass on." So because life is short, we should just accept bad conditions? Abeg.

These are soldiers who served this country. If the facility is that bad, why dem no just move dem to DSS or police custody wey the man himself say better? Who is really suffering here and who is hiding behind this court-martial to make sure nobody sees these men properly?
