The US just called out our government for playing hide-and-seek with revenues and expenditures, saying the books don’t match the reality on the ground. Even the so-called auditors are too weak to hold anyone accountable, and contract details remain locked away from prying eyes.If we can’t trust the numbers they give us, how can we trust anything else they say about our money?
