My friend don lose money for pepper, e pain me for her

I just come from market, I see wetin make me vex. My friend Fatima buy pepper for resale, she borrow money from her sister. She go to Dawanau market early morning, buy basket full. But the pepper don spoil before she even reach her shop. The sun too hot, the basket cover no good. She dey cry, she no fit sell am.

This thing pain me because na the same mistake plenty of us dey make. We see business wey get margin, we jump in, but we no check the risk. Pepper na perishable thing, you need to sell am same day. My father used to tell me, any business wey you no understand, na gambling you dey do. Fatima understand pepper, but she no understand logistics. She no arrange transport before buying.

I lend her small money to start again, but I tell her say next time, plan the route before you carry the load. In this country, the market no dey forgive anybody. You no fit dey careless and expect profit.
