Naira don appreciate but market price no gree follow

Na so I see say dollar don drop to ₦1,360 today. My heart jump small. But when I reach Mile 12 this morning, the tomato seller still dey shout same price like yesterday. I ask am, 'Oga, naira don strong, why price still high?' He just laugh and say, 'Mama, the dollar na for abroad, our market na by grace.'

Chai! This country funny. Dollar dey fall, but the only thing wey dey fall for market na my profit. I swear, if dem tell me say market women dey control exchange rate, I for believe am. At least we know the real price of things, not the one for TV.
