The Dutch ambassador came to Abuja and told us what we already know , our young people want skills they can use, decent work, and capital to start businesses. But when unemployment pushes more people out than insecurity does, and 49% say there simply aren't jobs, are we still going to blame 'Japa' on a lack of patriotism?Here's the thing that should make us think twice: 60.9% say lack of access to finance is their biggest barrier. If the money and opportunities were actually there, would this conversation even exist?
