Fuel price don drop but transport fare still high, make I break am down

See wetin dey happen for Aba today. I drive go Ariaria this morning, fuel don reduce for filling station, one litre na around ₦700 now. But transport fare from Aba to Onitsha still dey ₦5,000. Make I calculate am for una: na about 60km, one bus go carry like 15 passengers. If fuel cost drop by 20%, why fare no drop?

My brother wey dey drive commercial bus just tell me say, "Kola, fuel na one part of the cost. The rest na wahala." He talk am like say na only him dey suffer. But I dey see am, na same story for every market. When fuel price increase, fare go up same day. When e drop, dem go wait for two weeks before dem adjust. Naija pattern no be so?

Anyway, I no dey complain. I just buy fuel for my generator, e cost me less than last month. Small win. But I still dey ask myself, when transport go follow the drop? Na only God know.
