I caught my husband's alfa putting something in his tea and I have not told him

My husband started acting strange after his promotion. Coming home late, always on his phone, and the way he looked at me changed. I thought it was another woman. Then one Saturday I walked into the kitchen and saw our family alfa, Mallam Sule, standing over my husband's cup of tea. He was crumbling something into it. When he saw me he said it was just herbs for his blood pressure.

I did not believe him. I took the cup and poured it out right there. Mallam Sule left without saying another word. My husband came in and asked why his tea was gone, I said I spilled it. Since that day I have been watching my husband. He is still the same man, but I cannot shake the feeling that something was meant to change him. Maybe to make him love me more, maybe to make him leave me.

I have not confronted my husband because I do not know what he knows. Is he the one who asked for it? Or is Mallam Sule doing this on his own? I am scared to find out. Some nights I watch him sleep and I wonder if the man I married is still in there.
