Wizkid Is Headlining Detty December Again , But Who Really Benefits?

So the big man himself is back to open the 2026 Lagos Detty December show, and organisers are busy patting themselves on the back for adding a "Pulse Stage" for "emerging artists." Abeg, we’ve heard this one before , big name headlines, small acts get crumbs, and the rest of us pay through the nose for tickets. If Wizkid is the only reason the gate opens, is this really about growing African music or just selling out the main stage again?
