Na so I dey sell provisions for Agege Market since 16 years. One morning, I just open my shop, arrange my goods, when I see two men in uniform come stand in front of my shop. Dem say dem be taskforce, dem say I no get permit. I say, 'I get all my papers, na inside my bag.' But dem no listen. Dem seal my shop for my front. I just stand there, customers dey watch, other traders dey watch. One woman wey I think be my friend, she dey spread rumor say I be fraud. But one other woman, Iya Ibeji, she help me call her lawyer brother. He come check my papers, he talk say na mistake. We go their office, show dem everything. Dem open my shop the next day. That day, I learn say people wey dey close to you no be your friend. And people wey you no expect, dem be your helper. Since then, I no trust anybody for market. I just dey sell my goods, dey pray make God protect me. 🙏
