President Tinubu says the benefit of CNG conversion is sitting in the pockets of vehicle owners, not touching the passengers who pay the same fares. He's asking the union to make drivers pass the savings down, while also defending why he removed fuel subsidy with no warning , he claims strike threats forced his hand. The real question is, after two years of subsidy removal, are we seeing any actual relief in transport costs, or is this just another promise that will disappear before the next election?
