I caught my own mother stealing from my savings for 15 years

My mother has been stealing from my savings since I was 15. I am 30 now. She used to collect my apprenticeship money, my first salary, even the money I saved for my wedding. She always had a story, school fees for my siblings, repairs, hospital bills. I never questioned her.

Last month I found her old diary while helping her pack. Inside was a record of every single withdrawal. She had taken over 2 million naira in total. The last entry was dated two weeks ago. She didn't even have the decency to burn the evidence.

When I confronted her, she broke down and said she was saving it for my younger brother's house. My own mother, using my sweat to build another man's future. I have not spoken to her since. The money is gone, but the betrayal is worse. I don't even know how to look at her again.
