Davido just exposed Osun youths seizing APC vote buying money

Davido has just revealed that Osun State youths are seizing APC money meant for vote buying during the ongoing governorship election. He posted this on his X handle on Saturday, and honestly, this is the kind of grassroots resistance we need to see more of. Instead of collecting the money and selling their conscience, these youths are reportedly taking the cash and refusing to vote for the highest bidder.

In his words, "Osun State youths are seizing APC money meant for vote buying. Don't leave your polling unit until it's being uploaded on the IREV. Protect your vote now." He also charged them to stay at their polling units until results are uploaded to the INEC Result Viewing portal. This is a direct challenge to the political class that thinks every Nigerian has a price.

The question is, can this energy spread beyond Osun? If youths across Nigeria start seizing money from all parties and still voting their conscience, the political class will have no choice but to take us seriously. Or will this just be another viral moment that fizzles out after the election?
