Afrobeats star Davido has called out Senate Majority Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, and House of Representatives member James Faleke over an alleged move to overturn the Osun State governorship election result. The singer, who heads youth mobilisation for his uncle Governor Ademola Adeleke's re-election campaign, made the accusation on X amid ongoing collation of results.

Davido wrote, "Sen Opeyemi Bamidele, Sen Oamilekan Adeola and Hon Faleke are both making extra moves to upturn the results. They are in Osogbo."

This is a serious allegation at a critical moment. If true, it confirms what many feared about this election. But we must be careful, accusations are not proof. The question now is whether INEC will stand firm or bow to pressure from these powerful figures.
