Davido vs Faleke: The Osun Election Drama That Has Everyone Talking

So the Osun election drama just get new level. Afrobeats star Davido accused House of Representatives member James Faleke of trying to influence INEC to change the election result, and Faleke has fired back with a reply that is already generating serious debate online.

Davido had tweeted on Saturday during the collation in Osogbo, calling out Faleke directly. He wrote, "Hon. James Faleke, stop putting pressure on INEC to change Osun election result. Respect the wishes of Osun people. We don’t want Oyetola and AMBO." But Faleke, who was in Osun to support APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji, has denied everything and told Davido to focus on his music career.

In his own post on Sunday, Faleke said he has never influenced or rigged an election in his life, and he is not about to start now. He also reminded Davido that the singer supported his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, who ran under the Accord Party. "Face your music while we face our politics," Faleke said. The question now is, does Davido have any proof of his allegations, or is this just celebrity politics at its finest?
