The audacity of millennial men thinking they're fine because they have a car

I just left a date where this guy spent 20 minutes telling me about his SUV and his salary like I was his financial advisor. Then he asked if I could cook. I can't with this generation of men. Having a car is not a personality. It's giving entitlement.

He said, and I quote, "You should be grateful I'm even taking you out. Most men won't spend on a woman they're not sure about." I laughed so hard I almost choked on my drink. Sir, you took me to a buka. Grateful for what?

Ladies, are we really supposed to be impressed by basic responsibility now? Or is it just me that finds this disrespectful?
